REAL ESTATE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIST
The Communication Strategist will manage a variety of key real estate accounts, providing client relationship management and account strategy, planning and execution to their client portfolio. The position will provide counsel and work with clients on marketing communications activities, recognizing and analyzing client business needs and providing agency recommendations. The Communication Strategist will be responsible for managing projects and campaigns from inception to completion. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: account management, strategic recommendations, critical path scheduling, estimating and billing, budget management, creative briefing, client presentations, event planning, and public relations planning.
Role and Responsibility:
- Client Relationship Management
- Daily client relationship management ensuring all projects are being executed on plan, on time and on budget
- Client project updating and presentations
- Develop a strong agency / client partnership
Strategic Thinking
- Providing strategic business recommendations and brand counsel to client group
- Participate in and lead client strategy sessions and workshops
- Develop creative briefs, brand positioning documents and marketing communication plans
Tactical Planning & Execution
- Project budget development and management
- Creation of client contact reports, workback schedules and weekly status reports
- Manage the execution of all client deliverables including sales collateral, advertising, sales centre development, interactive programs, media planning, event and public relations management
Financial Management and Reporting
- Responsible for client portfolio estimating and billing while striving to meet or exceed monthly billing projection targets
- Lead weekly budget tracking and budget control reporting of client portfolio
- Provide monthly projections and billing reporting to agency management
Research Initiatives
- Plan and manage client research initiatives with internal or external research professionals
Results Reporting
- Establish measurement criteria and manage reporting for all client campaigns
People Management
- Guidance and strategic mentorship to account coordinators
- Foster a positive agency culture and learning environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in an agency or marketing client service role
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Proficient in MS office
- Post secondary marketing or commerce degree or diploma
- Strategic thinker with research experience
- Experience in executing marketing communication tactics (i.e. direct marketing, advertising, sales collateral and interactive)
- Excellent writing skill set with experience drafting marketing communications plans
- Proven organization, multi-tasking and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Real estate marketing experience would be a major asset but is not mandatory
