CREATIVE DIRECTOR

As Creative Director you will be responsible for overseeing the design and branding and advertising for Chase clients and the overall Chase brand. This will include the development of high-level advertising and marketing concepts, and the mentoring and inspiring of the Chase creative team in translating marketing objectives into creative strategies. In addition to leading and directing the Chase creative team you will work in association with Account Managers to refine Creative Briefs, assign project teams and develop strategy while understanding client needs. You will also work closely with the Production/Studio Manager, establishing internal project goals, assessing the Chase creative team members and ensuring scheduled deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy
  • Mentoring and directing the Chase creative team
  • Provide opportunities for learning and growth for all project team members
  • Delegate or share tasks/responsibilities to improve creative workflow
  • Manage projects from concept to completion: Play lead role in the concept, design, writing and creation of content for print ads, photo shoots, websites and multimedia programs
  • Present creative strategies and concepts to clients, both internal and external
  • Serve as a liaison between client and creative group, communicating vision of creative group to client
  • Strategize with project team to anticipate problems, analyze solutions, identify alternatives and suggest recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year college or university
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' previous experience in traditional advertising, marketing communications
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography and online marketing
  • The ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers
  • Strong working knowledge of design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Previous management and/or mentoring experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong creative portfolio and have solid writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Adobe CS Suite
  • Experience in Real Estate marketing a plus
