Challenge
Hopewell Residential Communities approached Chase with the challenge of creating a dynamic online presence that reflected the company's commitment to detail in every community, while allowing HRC the ability to update content and important information in-house through a back-end administrative engine.
Solution
Chase crafted the Hopewell online experience with two distinct visitor groups in mind:
a) Residential Homebuyer (Primary)
b) Potential Investor (Secondary)
For the discerning residential homebuyer and investor, the Hopewell Residential Communities website delivers as a simple and easy to navigate online experience for choosing your next home or adding to your portfolio. With a clean design and clear navigation, each visitor has access to comprehensive information about past, current and upcoming communities that reflect their lifestyle needs.
The site emphasizes family values and needs through the use of community and lifestyle photography. Whether you are seeking the perfect community to raise a young family or a retreat from the hectic pace of city living, the website will provide you a friendly introduction to life in a Hopewell community.

A Journey Through Time – The Hopewell Achievement Timeline
Since its inception in 1991, Hopewell Residential Communities has continued to grow year after year. Looking back at their successes and satisfied homeowners, we realized there was a compelling story and timeline to share that could accurately articulate the company’s growth and rise to development excellence.
The Hopewell Achievement Timeline enables online guests to journey back through time to view important events and milestones in the company’s 15-year history; instilling consumer confidence in Hopewell’s award winning community offerings.
"What a Developer Does"
Understanding the developers role is often unclear to many home buyers. Chase embraced the opportunity to educate the audience by creating an interactive roadmap that outlines the seven steps involved in developing a successful residential community.
The online guest simply clicks on one of the seven steps and detailed visuals, using Flash technology and easy to read copy, come to life. Chase’s objective was to take a rather complicated process and make it simple to understand. The end result is a visually rich step-by-step community development tutorial that peaks user interest to find out more.
In-House Updating Functionality
With over a dozen communities in the Calgary and Edmonton markets, HRC is dealing with a vast amount of information that needs to be accurate and current. Chase's solution included a fully dynamic site that allows HRC to update everything from site copy, contacts and careers. Administrators are also able to add new or upcoming community information and details, including descriptions, builder logos and show home hours. All of this is accomplished through a user-friendly interface, in real-time, with no programming knowledge required. The result is a consistently relevant and current online user experience.
